Reconnect the backup Node
- Choose the Node that contains the backup you want to restore from.
- For server-based storage, confirm the same folder, path, bucket, or prefix is still available.
- For Watermelon Link, reconnect the computer-side browser session first.
- Wait until the Node connects and the remote index sync finishes.
Select months to restore
- On Home, check the right-side remote months you want to bring back to the iPhone.
- If you only check the right side, Watermelon Backup runs Download.
- If you check both sides of a month, Watermelon Backup runs Complete: it backs up local missing items first, then downloads remote-only items.
- Tap Execute and confirm the Download / Complete counts.
During restore
- Keep the Node available until the task finishes.
- Large restores can take time, so use stable power and network.
- Import behavior depends on the required backup resources being present.
- If iCloud Photos is enabled, review Allow iCloud Photo Access before running Download or Complete.
